"WeGetCloser" Cultural exchange through art

WeGetCloser is an intercultural exhibition project that creates new formats for encounters. The project is based on the conviction that art thrives on exchange. By promoting dialog, stimulating cooperative processes and creating synergies of togetherness, the initiative positions itself in the broader context of contemporary curatorial practices that are increasingly pursuing participatory approaches.

WeGetCloser is an open model of collaboration in which the entire process, from conception to reflection after the exhibition, is an integral part of the work itself. The works enter into intercultural dialog and encourage active participation and collective meaning-making. In this way, the exhibition reflects an ethic based on collaboration, diversity and the breaking down of boundaries - be they geographical, cultural or disciplinary: Get closer, look closer, come closer, and maybe, stay close.
